About Dr. Sikina
Dr. Matthew Sikina, M.D. is a fellowship trained, double board-certified Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

Dr. Sikina earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University located in Philadelphia. He subsequently completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Cooper University Hospital, the busiest level one trauma center in southern New Jersey.

Following his residency, Dr. Sikina pursued a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Stanford Health Care in San Jose. This fellowship provided him with extensive training in advanced physical exam techniques, diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound, ultrasound-guided procedures, regenerative medicine, and biomechanical evaluation. His experience includes serving as Team Physician for the Bay Area Panthers, San Jose State University, San Jose City College, and Valley Christian High School.

Specializing in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, Dr. Sikina utilizes advanced diagnostic ultrasound, minimally invasive ultrasound-guided procedures, and cutting-edge Orthobiologic therapies, including platelet-rich plasma, to provide the highest level of care. He is dedicated to helping his patients achieve their goals through a comprehensive, patient-centered approach. Dr. Sikina currently practices at the HSS Long Island location.
